Farming
Farming Project
Pro-grace Uganda is working so hard to see that it ends hunger issues in people’s lives by making sure everyone has enough food for both home consumption and for sale, this is done through PRO-grace getting experts in farming and taking them to different areas to teach people growing of crops and rearing of animals especially the modernized way of growing crops on a small piece of land and adding more value to the crops in in order to harvest alot.
We started this sometime back through different centers of women who face unintended pregnancies and since the women were very many, we had no food to feed them so we encouraged them to start farming, we bought for them seeds for sowing, rented land for farming and got for them experts to teach them the modernized way of farming, this really worked out for the women who face unintended pregnancies and we decided to introduce it to the whole communities so that their plants grow well.
Right now people are proud of the PRO-grace centers in different districts because of the good farming methods and rearing of hens, pigs, cows, goats and fish they are doing which has helped increase their earnings which cover up the school fees for their children, get shelter and live happy lives.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE
GIVE LIFE
In areas of deep poverty, many suffer from malnourishment. And most maintain poor health behaviors. The prevalence of disease, infection, and violence puts individuals at an increased risk of death. But the high cost of healthcare prevents them from seeking treatment. When medical emergencies take place, they have nowhere to turn.
Our Emergency Medical Care program provides immediate treatment to those in critical condition. Donations to our program cover the costs of medicine, surgeries, and hospital stays.
